hristina Grace is a London-born artist and a mother of two. Her work speaks to women who have endured loss and pain, and who have known the pride of raising a family. Hers is a story of survival, often against the odds and often without support.
Her work deals with loss, power and coercion, and equally with the joy and wonder that have, at different times and at varying intensities, broken into her life and the lives of so many others.
She uses layering as symbolism, each pass carrying the intricacy and depth that these forces have, over time, worked into the woman she has become.
